What the Rooted Path Is

Whole-person clinical care. Rooted in the person.

The Rooted Path provides specialized clinical assessment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those experiencing co-occurring mental health or behavioral health needs.

Our approach begins with a simple principle: meaningful assessment requires understanding more than a diagnosis, symptom, or behavior. We look at the whole person—their strengths, experiences, relationships, health, environment, supports, needs, and quality of life—to develop a more complete understanding of what may be happening and what may help.
